We are pioneering the development of a new model of psilocybin treatment, in which our proprietary formulation of synthetic psilocybin (which has received breakthrough therapy designation from the FDA) is administered with psychological support. We are currently in phase 3 study for treatment-resistant depression (TRD), and phase 2 for both post-traumatic stress disorder and anorexia nervosa. Job overview:

The Senior Manager, CCI will lead a range of strategic and operational projects, working closely with, and leveraging the expertise of, other leaders within the Clinical Care Innovation function, as well as a range of other internal and external stakeholders, to (i) improve the quality and efficiency of our therapist training programme and (ii) support the adaptation and optimisation of this programme upon potential regulatory approval of our first investigational therapy/product.  

Duration: 12-month contract.

Location: Remote on the East Coast, US or hybrid in our NYC, US or London, UK office.

Reports to: VP, Clinical Care.

Roles and responsibilities

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Programme performance assessment: Support the heads of the Clinical Care Research and Training functions in managing data-driven projects to learn from our ongoing programmes and studies and identify improvement opportunities for our therapist training and therapist mentoring programmes:
    • Design feedback surveys and analyse results
    • Develop and implement other feedback collection or performance assessment initiatives (e.g. therapist interviews, data analysis …)

  • Operational excellence and inspection readiness: support the head of the Clinical Care Operations function in identifying solutions (and when relevant, project-manage their implementation) to ensure efficient operations in therapist training (e.g. methods to plan training needs accurately, efficient documentation of training steps) and training content development (e.g. efficient collaboration with DELTA team, which covers AI/ML, Data Science, Technical and IT)

  • Commercial model strategy and partnerships: work closely with heads of CCI, in collaboration with the Commercial & Patient Access team, to support CCI-related initiatives as part of existing commercial partnerships (e.g. designing and leading presentations and workshops for external partners) and support partnerships with new potential partners such as training providers or accreditors (e.g. by conducting desk-based research or preparing key conversations)

  • DEI: Lead the design and implementation of initiatives to help therapists in our clinical trials deliver psychological support in a culturally-informed manner, and to understand how to make our therapist training programme more inclusive for therapists of all backgrounds – working closely with external DEI consultant(s) (when relevant) and with the head of the Clinical Care Operations function to seamlessly integrate these initiatives in our existing training programmes and processes

Candidate Profile:

  • Master’s level  
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team, and independently
  • Strong experience in project management, and in coordinating the implementation of multi-initiative programmes cross-functionally  
  • Ability to gain buy-in and alignment from internal stakeholders with diverse functional priorities, seniority level and interest  
  • Strong and clear communicator, embodying our company values of being compassionate, inclusive, bold and rigorous.  
  • Ability to craft compelling narrative and to communicate concepts and information to non-specialists
  • Analytical skills, including ability to analyse and draw conclusions from quantitative (eg survey responses) and qualitative (eg interviews) sources
  • Ability to work to tight timelines, with fast responsiveness
  • Action-oriented, self-starter, initiative-taker mindset  
  • Balanced mix of strategic and tactical mindset  
  • DEI knowledge/experience is a plus
  • Industry experience (pharma/biotech/healthcare) is a plus
