Job Summary:
The Director of Marketing at Lumin is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Lumin’s physical and digital presence and overall brand. This role focuses on attracting top clinical talent, increasing patient referrals and acquisitions, and supporting executive hiring through robust brand management and targeted marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement
- Content marketing - create engaging content, such as blog posts, patient testimonials, and informative articles, to build trust and attract patients through search and similar digital channels (SEO-optimized content)
- Performance marketing - manage and optimize our performance marketing (paid search) campaigns, evolving and testing out new strategies to engage potential clients
- Community engagement - participate in community events, health fairs, and other local activities to raise awareness about Lumin’s clinics and services
- Optimize our top-of-funnel process to ensure potential clients are engaged with and appropriately routed to care options as needed
- Provider Engagement
- Provider Engagement Program - work with Director of Provider Engagement to support our Provider Engagement Program (PEP), generating referrals to Lumin from care providers in our communities
- Partnerships - working with clinical leadership, establish and maintain partnerships with local healthcare providers, hospitals, and clinics to promote Lumin’s services.
- Educational Outreach - working with clinical leadership, organize educational sessions, workshops, and seminars for healthcare providers to inform them about Lumin’s offerings and benefits
- Marketing Materials - develop marketing materials, such as brochures, newsletters, and digital content, tailored to healthcare providers
- Content marketing - create engaging content, such as blog posts, client and provider testimonials, and informative articles, to build trust and attract providers through search and similar digital channels (SEO-optimized content)
- Performance marketing - manage and optimize our performance marketing (paid search) campaigns, evolving and testing out new strategies to educate and inform potential referring providers
- Developing the Lumin brand
- Brand Management - develop and implement a cohesive brand strategy that reflects Lumin’s mission, values, and unique selling propositions.
- Public Relations - manage public relations efforts to increase brand visibility and credibility through press releases, media outreach, and thought leadership.
- Executive Hiring Support - collaborate with the HR team to create marketing campaigns that attract top executive talent by highlighting Lumin’s strengths and opportunities.
- Corporate Communications - ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels and internal stakeholders to build a strong and recognizable brand.
- Market Research - conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights to inform marketing strategies and business decisions.
- Site-specific support
- Develop and execute plans involving all of the above to support new Lumin sites ahead of launch and during initial months, especially in new markets/geographies
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position
- Experience managing a budget
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies, preferably in the healthcare sector
- Strong understanding of brand management, digital marketing, and public relations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in market research and data analysis to inform strategic decisions
